Ambiguous, Adroit And Around Corners: The Era of Future Blur Leadership

Nitin Rakesh, CEO & Managing Director
Mphasis

Anticipation is no longer just a desired but an essential skill among leaders. Anticipation is a capability that organizations need to master, where strategy is an exercise in fluidity and execution is an exercise in adaptability.

We know that there will be multiple transformative ‘once-in-a-generation’ events over the course of the next decade. The only way to navigate these successfully is to master inter-connected thinking.

It needs leaders to reimagine the nature of disruption itself.

The Fast Future Arsenal:
Unbundling, Rebundling, And Innovating At The Intersections

Sangeet Paul Choudary

All business model innovation today follows a cycle of unbundling and rebundling, much like throwing lego blocks into a pile and reassembling them in innovative new ways. Traditional boundaries of business model innovation no longer hold sway.

Value is increasingly created at the intersection of previously unconnected domains.

Digital Platforms For Ecosystem Health And Regenerative Innovation

Jessica Groopman

As we move forward, a new revolution in business innovation is emerging. The role of innovation in the 21st century is to re-align our technologies, organizations, and markets in service of social and planetary well-being. This is, after all, critical for long-term resilience.

By reimagining how one of our most powerful tools; digital platforms, are harnessed and

applied, businesses can shift away from extractive, polarizing, waste-producing models.

Thinking Like
An
AI Native

Hari Abburi
Dr. Efi Pylarinou

We now see companies in five stages of transformation: Companies still on the initial stages of adopting digital, Companies that have successfully delivered a digital transformation, Companies that were born digital, Companies embedding AI as co-pilot, Companies that will now be born with AI & digital.

If you are a legacy company, how can you skip two to three generations of change into the AI Native World?

Thinking and operating like an AI-native company at the Enterprise level, would mean that the strategic decisions between optimum choices and transformative choices are based on incorporating and leveraging contextual AI capabilities.

AI-native companies will be able to harness contextual AI capabilities and make strategic decisions empowered by insights drawn from a complex, non-linear set of information and in a dynamic and continuous way.

Deconstructed And Decentralized Future Of Work

Ravin Jesuthasan
Dr. Alun Evans

As decentralized autonomous organizations are adopted more widely, new types of businesses will emerge that would look more like digitally-native cooperatives and less like traditional centralized corporations, significantly reducing agency costs.

In such decentralized organizations, leadership will rely on soft power and empathy, using culture and shared values to align the interests of disparate stakeholders to a common mission and purpose.

Decentralized Identity is a futuristic approach to try to invert the power dynamic of access to services, by giving the final user more agency as to how their identity and data can be used. For example, rather than logging-in to an online service by registering with a centralized database, a user demonstrates their identity by digitally signing a transaction, with a signature that could only have been generated from a given private key.

Intelligent Health:

The Convergence Of Data And AI

Vince Kuraitis
Ramanathan Srikumar

In the long run, healthcare will be profoundly changed and improved by AI. History might well show that healthcare was the single-most sector to benefit from AI.

There are thousands of new and incumbent companies, clinicians, and health systems experimenting with point solutions and application solutions. AI holds great promise for improving patient and clinician experience, improving quality and outcomes, and lowering costs. We remain optimistic.

This is just the beginning of the AI wave. The initial use of any new general-purpose technology – steam power, electricity, computing, the Internet -- is never an indication of the profound ways in which it ends up impacting life as we know it.

The fundamental way in which general purpose technologies have changed our lifestyles and the way businesses are conducted were not obvious at the time of the introduction of the technology.

Helping Leader's Design
New World People Experiences

Rajan Kalia
Cortney Harding

We are at a cusp of history and witnessing it. Technology and Human handshake is turning into a hug where the two blend. Leaders are able to communicate, inspire, direct and engage their teams deeply and richly with help of AI and technology.

They have better and richer data available to them about their teams than it ever was. It helps them navigate tricky team situations. AI is helping them match their personal work style with their team’s work style more closely.

Leaders can immerse themselves in a neural simulation, where artificial intelligence constructs hyper-realistic scenarios for leadership training. As leader’s navigate these simulated worlds, they engage with AI-generated characters who challenge their decision-making skills, emotional intelligence, and ability to adapt to unpredictable circumstances.

These neural simulations accelerate growth of a leader, allowing them and their teams to explore uncharted territories.

Designing The
Meta-Mobility Future

Kristin Slanina
Dr. Martha Boeckenfeld

As we delve deeper into the ever-evolving landscape of technological innovations, the interconnection between mobility and the metaverse emerges as a dynamic and transformative force of the Meta-Mobility.

This convergence presents a captivating realm of possibilities that are yet to be fully explored and appreciated. It’s about creating a world where technology enriches human experience.

Mobility is about the movement of people and goods – and the Metaverse symbolizes the transmission of ideas, experiences, and engagements across the digital milieu, merging diverse viewpoints, aspirations, and possibilities in ways previously unimagined.

Meta Mobility provides accessibility, inclusivity, and sustainability. It’s how we can be more efficient with our time as well as resources.
